Nice to meet you

I’m Nick, a designer with a passion for typography, pattern, decorative arts, and interiors. My process is based in historical research and centred around craft.

I studied architecture and industrial design in Italy before relocating to New York City to obtain an MFA in Communications Design from the Pratt Institute.

Whilst in NYC, I worked at Mucca Design, Penguin Random House, and was the senior designer at Louise Fili Ltd. In 2018, relocated to Paris to head-up WeWork’s France and Southern Europe Art & Graphics team. I’m now based in the UK where I’m a freelance designer and consultant.

Over the years, I have taught workshops and given keynotes on lettering at conferences in France, Australia, and around the United States. I’ve guest-lectured at several NYC design colleges including the School of Visual Arts, Parsons, and Pratt and taught a summer session at Type@Paris.
